About UsThe West Suburban Wildcats are an Illinois Registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization consisting of a diverse group of talented players from diverse areas. Wildcat players come from neighborhoods on Chicago's southwest side, Brookfield, the La Grange area, Countryside, Western Springs, Burr Ridge, Hinsdale, Willow Springs, Woodridge, Clarendon Hills, Cicero, Oak Park and more. Players selected to participate in the program are those who are dedicated to advancing their skills to compete at a higher level of play against other local and regional travel teams ranging from the 9U through 14U level. The majority of the managers and all of the in-house trainers are former college-level players and above focused on developing players as whole players to promote leadership, accountability, and the true meaning of teamwork. Parents and volunteers who are part of the program have a sincere desire to help players reach their goals while providing a healthy learning environment that will challenge and nurture their talents by learning in an all-inclusive manner that endorses leadership within the organization and beyond. Our MissionThe West Suburban Wildcats Travel Baseball Organization is composed of a diverse group of talented players from Chicago’s southwest side and nearby Western Suburbs. Our mission is to help these dedicated kids reach their goals by providing them with the type of superior training, valuable resources and exposure they deserve by maintaining a low cost of participation through fundraising, sponsorships and donations. We teach our participants to play with honor, integrity and pride because it brings forth the true essence of teamwork.
